Vintage LAB Lagny French stoneware mustard crock dating to approximately the mid-20th century. This charming French pottery jar features a creamy white/off-white glazed finish, rounded shoulders, a substantial rolled rim, and an impressed LAB Lagny mark near the base. These crocks were originally made for mustard and are associated with the French Moutarde de Meaux/Pommery mustard tradition.

The simple, rustic form makes this a wonderfully versatile vintage piece. It can be displayed as a small vase for flowers, used as a utensil holder, or simply enjoyed as farmhouse, French country, cottagecore, or primitive kitchen décor.

Measures approximately 5" tall. The opening is approximately 3" across.

Condition: Vintage condition with expected signs of age and use, including minor discoloration, glaze imperfections, surface marks and wear around the rim. The unglazed base shows age-related discoloration. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. No obvious chips or cracks noted.
