Pioneer LD-S9 LaserDisc Player Tested Maintained Serviced High End LD Player

This is a Pioneer LD-S9 LaserDisc player that has undergone maintenance. It offers higher brightness and contrast compared to many other models, making it particularly well-suited for playing anime.

The unit functions perfectly, including disc playback and automatic A/B side switching. The following maintenance has been performed:

① Replacement of the tray drive belt.

② Application of fresh grease to various drive components.

③ Cleaning of the pickup lens using alcohol.

Regarding the "red band" issue—a common, known defect in the LD-S9—in my view, it is virtually non-existent on this unit. (Please refer to the photos. As the perception of such issues can be subjective, this aspect is not covered by any guarantee.)
