Dramatic heavy metal military sculpture of a Napoleonic-era Italian cavalryman charging on horseback with sword held high made in Italy by GTB and signed by the artist that looks like "Targuiri".
This equestrian sculpture is cast in a heavyweight metal with a silverplate finish. It depicts the soldier charging forward on his galloping horse. The base of the sculpture is inscribed by the artist "Targuiri" along with the casting mark "GTB", a known manufacturer in Fermo, Italy. The sculpture is mounted to a solid wood base. Underneath are the original labels in Italian from the manufacturer GTB and another label "Argententura - 999/000" indicating it is silverplate.
It measures 11" tall by 10" wide by 5" deep, and weighs 6.5 lbs.
It's in very good condition with no cracks or breaks, but the sword has been replaced. An action-packed military statue from Italy.
