Vintage heavy-duty tailor’s or dressmaker’s shears with long steel blades, black-painted metal handles and brass-coloured pivot fitting.

Traditionally used by tailors and dressmakers for cutting fabric, including heavier textiles.

Approximately 25cm (10 inches) long.

Estimated period: mid-20th century, circa 1930s–1960s.

Good usable vintage condition. The scissors open and close correctly and have been tested to cut. Surface marks and discolouration to the blades, with some wear to the black-painted handles. Please see photographs.
