Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 11-inch (M3)

British English, QWERTY keyboard

Overview:

This iPad Magic Keyboard allows you to type while viewing the entire iPad screen. It attaches magnetically to your iPad - without switches, plugs or pairing - and provides a protective cover when closed.

Magic Keyboard is the perfect companion for iPad Air. It delivers an amazing typing experience and a trackpad for precision tasks in a sleek, portable design. The keyboard includes a 14‑key function row, a USB‑C connector for charging, and front and back protection for your iPad. The floating cantilever design smoothly adjusts to multiple viewing angles and a large trackpad expands how you can work with iPadOS.

Highlights:

Portable cantilever design provides smooth adjustability and delivers the perfect viewing angle.

Large trackpad for a responsive and intuitive experience.

14-key function row for convenient access to screen brightness, volume controls and other features.

Comfortable typing experience.

Designed for Multi-Touch gestures and the cursor in iPadOS.

USB-C connector for charging iPad Air, freeing up the connector on the iPad for other accessories.

Folds into a case to provide front and back protection for travelling with iPad Air.

My illustration photos shows it attached to my iPad Air 11-inch (M3) which it works brilliantly with (not included in sale!).  Apple Support page "iPad Magic Keyboard and Smart Keyboard" suggests that it is compatible with:

iPad Air 11-inch (M2, M3, and M4)

iPad Air 13-inch (M2, M3, and M4)

iPad Air (4th and 5th generation)

Note: requires iPadOS 18.3 or later.

I bought this in August 2025 from Apple for £269 but have barely used it.
