Antique unmarked pewter teapot with a wonderfully aged, primitive look. This piece has wonderful character: a mellow gray patina, visible hand-worn surface texture, an old hinged lid, curved spout, and a contrasting dark handle.
The teapot shows many signs of age and long use, including old soldered repairs around the hinge, handle, and body. The handle appears to be a different metal and was soldered on at some point in the past. The lid is attached but does not sit snugly. These repairs and irregularities give the piece a rustic, timeworn appeal and make it best suited for display rather than use.
A striking piece for primitive, farmhouse, country, tavern, or early American-style decor. For decorative use only; not recommended for food or beverage use.

I aim to please, and describe every item to the best of my ability. But please note that my vintage items often received frequent use back in their day, so may show visible signs of wear and age. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way, as I treasure those marks of the past.
