This is AmboMojo’s 2nd build. We still own, love and travel in Ambo1. With Ambo2 every detail was chosen with quality and simplicity in mind.

It is very rare to find an ambulance with the legendary 7.3 turbo diesel with just under 27,000 miles. It came from a fire department in Nebraska which timed it out so very well maintained. It has OnSpot auto chains and 6 new mud and snows so it is an excellent winter ski rig. This is our second ambulance build so the new one has some enhancements and special build features like doubled insulation, roof top kayak racks and deck area, custom ladder, new custom heavy duty tow hitch, ski locker, 3 starter batteries (2 are brand new), expanded recline for passenger seat, and much more. We gutted it and did a real build, it has all the things you would expect in a high end sprinter build and more. If you don’t know ambulances are built with incredible materials and quality, they must survive roll tests (don’t try that with a motorhome). All aluminum construction, 6 foot tall inside height, incredible cabinets latches, so much storage inside and external, insulated sealed lockers, these are rugged vehicles that we take on dirt roads and winter road trips with absolute confidence.

The 7.3 diesel is very reliable, pre DEF, reasonable to repair and maintain and has incredible power and quite good fuel economy 12-15mpg. Yes we know it’s red (which my wife believes is very safe and also allows us to stay in hospital parking lots if needed, our other ambulance is red/white and original too) but if that’s not you…paint it or wrap it for around 5K.

New built out sprinters start around $180K+, there is a lot of value here.
