ANTIQUE VERITAS BRASS OIL LAMP SECESSIONIST c1890 GERMAN working well
All as per the images and title. All in very good condition. Fully working well, the wick adjuster moving the wick freely up and down within its burner. Nice quality, German in make by Veritas. All in solid brass that has very minor oxidation to the surface and would polish up to a lovely sheen relatively easily. The design very secessionist / arts crafts , era of inspirational design circa 1890 using flowing lines, removed from the traditional floral classic Victorian realist designs. It measures approx 17 inches high to the very top of the castelated gallery, 26 to the top of the chimney, the brass font approx 6 1/2 inches wide, and the splay across the feet about 8 inches.
