Offered here is an original heavy cast iron Expandable Telephone stamped Property of Bell Telephone with an 1891 patent date. Acquired with other telephone and telegraph antiques from a long retired Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Lineman from La Junta, Colorado. When extended out it measures 22.0" with a cast iron and brass stand that measures 11.50. Would have been mounted on a desk with the accordion style extension giving the ability of some mobility in a telegraph office. A wonderful display set of Bell Telephone and Santa Fe Railroad history. The piece is not marked as property of Santa Fe. Thanks for looking!
