Up for auction is a delightful, wonderfully quirky pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern anthropomorphic ceramic Peanut People salt and pepper shakers. This adorable kitsch set features a dapper peanut boy sporting molded wire-rimmed glasses and a black top hat alongside a peanut girl wearing a pink and green bonnet hat. Both feature highly detailed, texturized peanut-shell bodies and expressive, wide-eyed facial expressions.
• Measurements: Each shaker stands approximately 3-1/2” to 4” tall.
• Markings: Hand-stamped/marked "Japan" on the base.
• Stoppers: Includes original vintage cork stoppers.

Pre-owned, vintage condition with fantastic display value!
• Ceramics: No cracks or damage. As is typical with mid-century Japanese ceramics, there may be very minor paint wear, light factory glaze imperfections, or fine age crazing upon close inspection.
• Stoppers: The vintage cork stoppers are present. Due to age, old cork can become brittle or dry; please handle gently when removing or filling.
• Please look closely at all high-resolution photos to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition and charming vintage patina before bidding. Sold as-is.
