Vintage 1960s Wainberg Brutalist Brass Shabbat Candlesticks - Matching Pair (7-1/4”)

Up for auction/sale is a stunning, authentic matching pair of Mid-Century Modern Brutalist brass candlesticks crafted by the renowned artisan Wainberg in Israel during the 1960s.

These pieces feature the iconic, heavily textured "molten" metal design characteristic of the mid-century Israeli art brass movement. They are substantial, heavy cast pieces that sit firmly on abstract, organic bases.

Dual-Authenticated Markings:
- Top side of both bases prominently displays the cast textured "JERUSALEM" hallmark.
- Underside of both bases is cleanly stamped with "WAINBERG" and "ISRAEL".

Dimensions:
- Height: Approximately 7-1/4 inches
- Material: Solid Cast Brass

Condition Notes:
Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, deep, untouched original antique gold patina. No cracks, major dents, or structural damage. Minor superficial signs of age/use appropriate for 60-year-old metalware. The interior candle cups may retain tiny remnants of historic wax. We have left the patina exactly as found, as collectors heavily prefer the unpolished, authentic aged look.
