Bulk Stack Vintage 1930s Victor Brewing Co PA Beer Restaurant Menu Paper Blanks Old Shay Ale Steinhaus NOS
Up for sale is an absolute Holy Grail find for Western Pennsylvania breweriana and vintage restaurant ephemera collectors! This is a large, untouched "New Old Stock" (NOS) bulk printer's stack of 200 original pre-World War II restaurant menu paper blanks issued by the famous Victor Brewing Company of Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
Dating precisely to circa 1935–1939, these lightweight sheets were shipped by the brewery to local bars and taverns. The establishments would slide these paper blanks directly into a typewriter or regional printing press to add their daily food specials inside the large open space beneath the vibrant brewery headers.
The top borders feature beautifully detailed graphic typography advertising their premier lines: Old Shay Ale, Steinhaus Beer, Scotty Stout, Old Sleigh Half & Half, and Old Pub Porter. The bottom corner features a striking red logo illustration of a driver steering a horse-drawn shay carriage.
Factory Packaging & Open-Top Note:
This entire 200-count stack comes housed in its original factory brown paper packaging wrapper, neatly stamped on the end: "Victor Brewing Co. 200 Menu Sheets by Liberty Show Printing Co." Crucially for collectors, this pack remains tightly sealed and fully intact on three sides (the bottom, back, and long borders). Only the very top edge of the wrapper has been opened to expose the top menu sheet, beautifully preserving the remaining 199 underlying blanks inside their original distribution brick exactly as they left the print shop.
