ANTIQUE SPLIT CANE 9ft FLY FISHING ROD Fine wand of a rod Hardy quality
All as per the images and title. Allowing for the very tip of the rod having a slight cast off to the right it's all in very good condition. A fine wand of a rod for streams and small rivers for small prey with a lot of whip to it and firm location for the brass ferrule. A nice quality rod similar to Hardy rods with Hardy type ferrule fittings and pink silk bindings to the split cane, although there's no makers name visible. It measures a tad under 9ft long. It comes in a Hardy rod bag ( 4 shaft ) BUT IT'S NOT THE ORIGINAL BAG FOR THE ROD, but it will keep it clean & tidy. Again another rod from this ex colonels estate, who seemed to like spinning & fly fishing.
