About This Ornament
This 2025 Limited Edition Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features Cedric, a talented and handsome student at Hogwarts, from the "Harry Potter" franchise. He's wearing his Huffelpuff house colors, yellow and black, holding his wand, and casting a spell. Although they weren't close friends, both Cedric and Harry had respect for each other, and were ultimately co-champions for the Triwizard Cup. Unfortunately, the cup was a portkey and when they both touched it, they were transported to a graveyard, which resulted in Cedric's death. His spirit tried to help Harry escape and requested Harry take his body back to his parents. Cedric was remembered with fondness and honor, appropriate for a member of his house, which was known for justice, fair play, and selflessness. His death was symbolic of a major change in the series, moving into darker, more adult themes and an increased level of danger around Harry. The ornament can stand on it's own, or be hung from the top, and is dated on the back. This 2025 Hallmark ornament was first available after the 2025 Hallmark Ornament Premiere Event on July 12, 2025.
