Madina Arabic Coffee is a lightly roasted, finely ground Arabic coffee for brewing traditional Saudi-style gahwa (qahwa) at home – the golden, fragrant coffee of the Gulf, served black in small finjan cups alongside dates. Choose Plain to spice it your own way, or Saffron & Cardamom, ready-blended with real saffron and cardamom for the classic Gulf flavour.
Brew a pot in a dallah or saucepan for guests, Ramadan iftar and suhoor, Eid, weddings and family gatherings, the majlis and everyday coffee breaks; serve with Madina dates, baklava or ma’amoul. A lighter, aromatic alternative to espresso or Turkish coffee. Each 200g pouch makes around 12–15 pots.

| How to brew | Bring about 500ml of water to the boil, stir in 2 tablespoons (around 15g) of coffee and simmer gently for 10–15 minutes. Take off the heat, let the grounds settle for a minute, then pour the coffee into a dallah or flask, leaving the grounds behind. For the Plain blend, add ground cardamom (and a pinch of saffron) in the last few minutes. Adjust strength to taste. |
