For sale is a BW Broadcast TX300 V2, a professional 300-watt FM broadcast transmitter manufactured in the United Kingdom.
This unit was previously installed and used by a licensed FM radio station operating on 94.3 MHz. The station ceased operations in 2025, and the transmitter was subsequently removed from service.
The transmitter was operational when the station closed. It has since been powered on and inspected, with the results detailed below.
Powers on and boots normally.
Front-panel LCD display functions normally.
Front-panel buttons, rotary control, and configuration menus are accessible and responsive.

Important testing disclosure:
A brief RF output test was attempted using an external dummy load. The transmitter indicated a high reflected-power/VSWR condition, and testing was stopped. The dummy load was subsequently found to have an open-circuit condition, making it unsuitable for a valid RF output test.
The transmitter has not subsequently been tested using a verified 50-ohm load, and full rated 300W RF output has not been confirmed following removal from service.
Accordingly, the transmitter is being sold as used equipment with limited post-removal testing. No guarantee is made regarding its current full-power RF performance.
