Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing.
This is a 2009 Gibson Les Paul Standard electric guitar, featuring a lightweight chambered body weighing approximately 3. 5 kg as measured on a home scale. The guitar is equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-1n '59 Neck pickup with braided wire in the front and a numbered 1970s bridge pickup. The bridge and tailpiece are KLUSON parts, with Montreux Retro Vibe Series pickup covers, Montreux Time Machine Collection escutcheon, pickguard, and toggle plate.
The control knobs are relic style from YJB Parts. The electronics have been replaced from the original circuit board type to traditional wiring with CTS pots, capacitors, toggle switch, jack, and wiring of unknown manufacturer. The guitar has a long tenon neck joint and the neck feels like a '58 neck with a semi-acoustic sound quality and an airy tone when played unplugged. The frets show about 70% remaining, with some wear and leveling on strings 2 to 4 between frets 4 to 15.
There is slight fret buzz depending on string height and position. The front escutcheon near the neck side has a thin crack that has been glued and taped. The rear pickup cavity is marked LPSTD+ possibly indicating a plus top laminated construction. The guitar includes an original Gibson hard case that shows some dirt.
The finish shows various scratches, marks, and wear consistent with moderate use. Electronics can occasionally develop contact noise. Please review photos for detailed cosmetic condition and note no returns are accepted.
