Very early photo album with dates between 1897 and 1899.  Appears to be Washington State and a trip to China.  Evidence of missing photos.  What is a little different about this album is the person glued the photos to the pages just on the top border of the photo and then you lift them up to see the description written on the page underneath them.

Album is arranged as follows:

42 photos that appear to be Washington State with locations such as Cohasset Beach which is in Washington State and some scenery of that appears to be northwest woods and logging related.  Appears family lived in Washington State.

34 photos of a trip to China in 1898 which includes some aboard ship but others in China.  These albumen photos are somewhat light in exposure but some neat images.  For example a man shaving the head of a child.

22 photo that appear to be back in Washington State showing some yacht photos and other photos of people hanging out together.

All pages still attached to spine and covers in good shape but photos missing which is annotations you see because this person put the annotations under the photos.
