VINTAGE MATCHBOX KING SIZE ERF 'READYMIX'

CONCRETE TRUCK K13-1 (1963).

Working concrete barrel.

About the truck.

• This early King Size diecast model is in really very good condition for its age.
• It was the first King Size model with the #13 in the range, first released in 1963.
• This truck has the orange body and barrel with red plastic wheel hubs.
• Importantly, both door labels are still in place (if showing their age slightly) and both sides of the barrel have the Readymix logo decal, similarly with slight defects.
• I have replaced four of the tyres with very convincing modern repros from RecoverToy, so it is now roadworthy.
• There is a geared mechanism that joins the two middle wheels with the barrel to make it rotate: it's a little stiff but it does work.
• Some chips to the paint.
• The blue glass is intact.
• Dimensions: 11.5 cm long x 4 cm wide x 5 cm high, approximately (King Size).
• All my reference shots are of the actual item up for sale.
• Please view them as an integral part of this description.
