Full HD at 4100 lumens
The EB-FH54 projects a native 1920 x 1080 image from 0.62 inch LCD panels. Brightness is 4100 lumens measured to ISO 21118, or 2300 lumens in eco mode, with a 16000:1 contrast ratio and Scene Adaptive Gamma Correction.
In a meeting room or classroom that is enough to keep the lights on during a presentation, as long as direct sunlight does not hit the screen. Colour modes: Dynamic, Presentation, Cinema, sRGB and Blackboard.
Share screens without cables
Wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac) is built in, so there is no adapter to buy. Laptops, tablets and phones can connect directly:
- Apple AirPlay 2 from iPhone, iPad or Mac
- Miracast from Windows laptops and Android devices
- Epson iProjection app - connects and controls up to 4 devices, with split screen for 2 sources

3LCD colour
Three separate LCD panels handle red, green and blue at the same time. Colour light output is the same 4100 lumens as white, so charts and coloured slides keep their brightness. There is no colour wheel, so no rainbow effect.
Throw distance and zoom
The manual 1.62x zoom gives a throw ratio of 1.30-2.09, so you can place the projector over a wide range of distances. A 60 inch picture needs 1.73 m to 2.80 m, and the image size runs from 31 to 304 inches at 0.88 m to 14.29 m.
Zoom and focus rings sit under the top cover, next to the horizontal keystone slider. The unit weighs 3.1 kg and can stand on a table or go on a ceiling mount.
Keystone and Quick Corner
Auto vertical keystone corrects up to 30 degrees as you raise the front with the foot lever. Horizontal keystone goes up to 30 degrees using the slider. If the projector has to sit off to one side, Quick Corner lets you pull each corner of the image to the edge of the screen.

The built-in 16 W speaker is loud enough for a meeting room or classroom without extra speakers. For a larger hall, connect active speakers to the audio out.
Management and security
For IT staff the projector supports web control, web remote, a schedule function, OSD copy for copying menu settings between units, and HTTPS, IPv6 and SNMP. Direct power on/off lets it start and stop with the mains supply, and auto power on starts it when a signal arrives.
Security: Kensington lock, padlock provision, security cable hole and password protection.
Lamp, noise and power
The 230 W UHE lamp is rated for 5500 hours in normal mode and 12000 hours in eco mode. Fan noise is 37 dB in normal mode and 28 dB in eco. Power draw is 284 W normal, 181 W eco and 0.3 W in standby.
