This is a classic Specialized entry-level specification hardtail, with an Specialized Premium aluminium frame (double-butted front triangle with proprietary Specialized ORE down tube), forged dropouts with eyelets and a replaceable mech hanger. 

It features a Manitou Axel Elite fork with 100mm travel and TPC damping with lockout, which is great on roads and towpaths as well as trails.

The drivetrain is Shimano Deore 3 x 9, with an LX rear mech and Deore shifters and front mech. 

Upgrades over time include a Charge Spoon saddle, Race Face Good 'n' Evil grips and Lizard Skins chainstay and headset protection.

The fork is the V-brake version with an option to upgrade to disc.The frame has a reinforced disc mount and both hubs are disc hubs, so a rear disc conversion would be straightforward. 

Great condition and low mileage and no abuse. There are no dents and no significant paint damage, and the drivetrain shows minimal wear. Close-up photos are included and form part of the condition description.
