The Genie WNVR832 is a professional 32-channel IP Network Video Recorder (NVR) designed for larger CCTV and security camera installations.

With support for up to 32 IP camera channels and recording at up to 3MP resolution, the WNVR832 gives you a central platform for recording, viewing, searching and managing footage from compatible IP cameras.

The system combines a straightforward graphical user interface with powerful recording, playback, networking and alarm functions, making it suitable for commercial, professional and larger-scale CCTV applications.

The WNVR832 supports 32-channel IP video input with up to 3MP at 30fps. It also supports 1080P at 32 channels and 720P at 16 channels, providing flexibility when configuring a mixed-resolution CCTV system.

Recordings can be made using manual, timer, motion or sensor recording modes, allowing the recorder to be configured around the requirements of your surveillance system.

Designed for control.

Finding recorded footage is straightforward with time/calendar search and event searching for motion and external alarms.

The WNVR832 provides 16-channel simultaneous playback, along with play, pause, fast forward, rewind and digital zoom functions. A smart search function can also help identify periods where a channel was recording.

For compatible PTZ cameras, the recorder supports PTZ presets and auto-cruise functions, with up to 128 presets and 8 cruises.

Connected when you need it.

Network connectivity is built into the WNVR832, supporting protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, PPPoE and DDNS. Remote operation via Internet Explorer or CMS is supported for functions including preview, playback, backup, PTZ control and configuration.

Its dual-stream technology allows the network stream to be adjusted to suit available bandwidth without changing the recording quality.

The system supports multiple users online simultaneously and provides mobile functions for compatible iPhone and Android devices, including multi-screen surveillance on certain models, recording, snapshots and PTZ control.

Flexible storage and backup.

The WNVR832 features support for up to 8 SATA hard drives and provides flexible backup options through USB, network or SATA-connected DVD-RW equipment, as specified by Genie.
