Overview

The Italeri B-17F Flying Fortress kit lets you build your own scale model of the four-engine heavy bomber used by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. The B-17 was produced in large numbers and flown widely, notably by the 8th Air Force on daytime strategic bombing missions over Europe. The F variant brought extended operational range, a substantial offensive payload and heavier defensive armament of ten .50 calibre machine guns.

This is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit. Once assembled, the model measures 31.3 cm. The kit includes an interesting set of decals with five alternatives, each with its own creative nose art. Assembly is required and the parts are moulded in plastic.

Please note this is a model kit and not a finished toy. It is not suitable for children under 3 years.
