Vintage Moroccan Fassi Fez Pottery Bowl Blue White Hand Painted 9.5” Bohemian

Beautiful hand-painted ceramic bowl from Fez (Fès), Morocco, featuring traditional Fassi blue-and-white decoration.

The bowl has an intricate symmetrical floral/geometric design to the center, surrounded by an elaborate cobalt blue, light blue and cream arabesque border. The exterior continues the decorative pattern around the bowl.

The underside is hand marked “FES.” The bowl rests on a raised ring foot with three intentional pierced openings allowing the bowl to be suspended for decorative display. Pierced feet are a characteristic feature found on traditional Fassi pottery.
