Id# 3704 Vintage Genuine Natural BIG Puka Shell Colorful Graduated Beaded Necklace

Aloha! This is the first time I have ever seen a bigger, colorful, Puka shell necklace hand strung like this with every 2 shells facing each other. Pretty Groovy. This is definitely a cool one to add to your collection! It appears to be hand strung on a string of some sort and there is a hook & eye closure.

Since this necklace is made up of natural Puka shells, please expect that there may be imperfections, chips, or a missing shell or pointy parts of the natural shells and they may have not been smoothed down/polished, etc. I think gives them some character. Shells are authentic, natural & unique, so each necklace you see may have a different look or feel to it.

This necklace is approximately 20 Inches long as shown in the images and the shells vary in size. A few measurements are in the photos.

To me, this necklace is in groovy vintage condition, which means wear consistent with age, wear and use. This is not a new necklace. I personally love the look of older Puka necklaces, others may not. Please look at all of the images to form your own opinion as to the condition of the necklace and shells, as my opinion may differ from yours.

I did not clean or polish the necklace. I know some folks like some patina or receiving items in their vintage condition, so I leave polishing and cleaning up to the discretion of the buyer. I wash my puka necklaces in soapy dish liquid & cold water, pat them dry quickly and they come out looking great.

Condition: 
Vintage or preowned jewelry typically shows wear constant with its age. This may include things to expect such as light scratches, tarnish, in need of cleaning or polishing. The images are a major part of the description so please zoom in and look closely so there will be no surprises, and you know exactly what I am selling and you will be receiving.

** Most of the time, I try not to disturb any vintage/preowned jewelry by cleaning and/or polishing it in order to keep it in its original patina leaving it to your discretion. I do not want to take a chance ruining something. Depending on your own taste, you can either clean or polish it or keep it in its original state.

My jewelry comes from estates, individual consignors, individual or bulk purchases, etc. In most cases, I do not know the history of the jewelry nor where it has traveled or been stored. Most importantly, I have no idea if it has been around pets, smoke, air fresheners or any sort of allergen or if it smells. (I do not smell jewelry)
