DESCRIPTION: RARE! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! GROUP OF FIVE (5) American actress, ANN SOTHERN, with RED SKELTON, JOHN CARROLL, ELEANOR POWELL, and ROBERT YOUNG vintage original gelatin silver double-weight 8" x 10" photographs (four semi-gloss double-weight, one glossy single-weight) for, Lady Be Good (M-G-M, 1941), one taken by renowned studio photographer, CLARENCE SINCLAIR BULL. Four with studio production codes in the negatives at the lower corners recto, each with studio typewritten captions, one with studio production code S1182-105 ink stamp, one with photographer and studio credit ink stamp, and three with HAAC approved ink stamps dated MAR and APR 1941 on the verso. These semi-gloss double-weight portraits were printed in very few numbers, from the camera negatives, and sent out by the studio as exclusive publicity. They are seldom encountered, especially in this condition.

- I ship all items using, what I call, triple protection packing. The photos are inserted into a display bag with a white board, then packed in between two thick packaging boards and lastly wrapped with plastic film for weather protection before being placed into the shipping envelope.
