Hey there, fellow collectors and art lovers! I'm excited to share one of my latest hand-engraved creations with you. I really wanted to capture some spooky, deep-sea vibes with this one, perfect for October! 👻

On the reverse of a genuine Buffalo Nickel, I've engraved a truly mean-looking fish. I focused on giving it a lot of character, with sharp teeth and an intense gaze as it appears to be looking up towards the surface. I even tried to cut the border in a way that makes the front half of the fish seem like it's popping out a bit from the coin's surface, almost like it's breaking through to say "boo!" 🐠✨

This piece really showcases the unique charm of hand-engraved coins, sometimes called hobo nickels. Each cut is made by hand, giving it a distinctive feel that machine-made items just can't replicate. You can see the individual tool marks that bring this fierce fish to life!

All orders include free shipping! I usually ship in a regular envelope to keep things simple and fast. Auctions under $20 go out with eBay Standard Delivery for letters. For auctions over $20, I send them in a stamped letter with Lettertrack Pro for tracking, so you can keep an eye on your new treasure.
