Hey there, fellow collectors and art lovers! 👋 I'm excited to share one of my latest hand-engraved creations with you – a truly unique Buffalo Nickel featuring a spooky, moonlit night scene! 🌙 I really enjoyed bringing this piece to life, and I think it captures a fun, eerie vibe that's perfect for the season.

## Design details

For this special piece, I decided to engrave a classic VW Beetle, cruising under a crescent moon and a sky full of stars. ✨ I wanted to give it that mysterious, midnight drive feel, with the little car seemingly on an adventure. The reverse side of the Buffalo Nickel provided a fantastic canvas for this whimsical, slightly spooky design. You can clearly see the "FIVE CENTS" denomination, and I love how the original coin's texture adds to the overall character of my engraving.

## Condition

This is a hand-engraved coin, so it bears the marks of my tools and artistic process. I always aim for a clean, detailed engraving, and I believe this piece shows off that precision. Please examine the photos closely to appreciate all the intricate details I've added.

## Collector / story note

I've always been fascinated by the tradition of hobo nickels and the art of hand engraving. Each one of these coins tells a new story, and I find it incredibly rewarding to transform a classic coin into a miniature piece of art. This particular design, with its moonlit VW Beetle, feels like a little Halloween adventure captured in metal. 👻 It's a fantastic conversation starter and a unique addition to any collection!

## Closing / bidding note

I'm really proud of this piece and can't wait for it to find its new home. Happy bidding, and I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed creating it! Thanks for looking! 😊
