This is a vintage industrial brutalist spill cast sculpture. It was inadvertently created while a repairman soldered a train wheel hub.

According to the person I purchased this from, it dates from the 1980s.

It varies between 13 and 14 1/2 inches wide (33 cm – 36 cm).

From what I was told, the man was soldering the hub of a train and this dripped off and hit the concrete shop floor below, creating this beautiful artwork. It's quite a striking piece.

He drilled the hole in it so he could hang it on his wall.

The piece has scattered scratches and some tiny dings here and there.

You may even like the back better than the front! It's simply incredible!

It weighs 9 pounds 14 ounces (4.474 kg).
