An unusual and highly decorative original French Baguépi boulangerie countertop bread display, sourced from a French brocante market.Baguépi is a French bread and flour brand established in 1989 and associated with independent artisan boulangeries in France. This is a genuine piece of French commercial bakery equipment rather than a modern French-style reproduction.
Made from substantial painted metal, the stand carries original Baguépi advertising and was designed to sit on a boulangerie counter for displaying breads and baguettes. the centre shelf can be folded up to accommodate tall French baguettes or kept in the down position for an extra shelf for croissants or rolls. The front blackboard-painted panel is for chalk prices/product details which would have changed daily.
