This 1971 LP is White Rabbit by jazz guitarist George Benson, released on CTI Records (Catalog No. CTI 6015).
While the album was recorded in November 1971 at the famous Van Gelder Studio, it was officially released in early 1972.
It is widely considered a jazz-fusion masterpiece and earned Benson his very first Grammy nomination.

Produced by CTI founder Creed Taylor, the album is famous for Don Sebesky's lush, Spanish-flavored orchestral arrangements, which utilize brass fanfares, moody woodwinds, and flamenco-style rhythms.
The album contains five tracks:
• A1. "White Rabbit" (6:55) – A psychedelic jazz interpretation of the famous Jefferson Airplane song.
• A2. "Theme from Summer of '42 (The Summer Knows)" (5:00) – A cover of the Michel Legrand film theme.
• A3. "Little Train" (5:40) – An adaptation of Heitor Villa-Lobos' classical piece.
• B1. "California Dreaming" (7:15) – A warm, Andalusian-harmony arrangement of The Mamas & the Papas classic.
• B2. "El Mar" (11:00) – A Benson original and the only track on the album featuring a young Earl Klugh.
