Description

Beautiful vintage Émaux de Longwy cup and saucer, made in France and dating to approximately 1946–1953.


Decorated in Longwy’s distinctive cloisonné-style enamelling, with a vivid turquoise-blue ground, cobalt blue borders and handle, and richly coloured floral decoration.


The saucer is marked D.5683 and “Rehaussé main”, together with the initials D.M., associated with Longwy decorator Denise Masson.


Both pieces carry Longwy factory markings.

Cup: 7 cm high


A very attractive and highly decorative example of mid-20th-century French Longwy enamel ware, ideal for a collector or display.
