This is the wooden base and smoked hinged dust cover built for the Technics SP-15, sold without the SP-15 drive unit or a tonearm. The dust cover opens and closes on its hinges, but the hinge springs have weakened and no longer hold it open, so it lowers on its own unless propped.
There are several visible scratches across the top of the dust cover, and a small chip in the wood veneer near one corner exposes the lighter material underneath.
No SP-15 drive unit, tonearm, or platter is included, only the base and dust cover. The armboard's center opening has rough, exposed wood edges rather than a finished grommet.
