This preamplifier was tested before listing and works as it should. Every input selects and passes audio cleanly, the volume and attenuator controls adjust smoothly, and the built-in head amp (MC phono stage) operates as it should.
The lacquer finish on the wood cabinet has a small chip with a hairline crack along two of the top panel's rear corner seams. The power cord's strain relief grommet on the rear panel shows yellowed discoloration.
This is a Japanese AC 100V model, so a step-down transformer is required outside Japan.
