An authentic original 1978 graphic exhibition poster titled "Messiah", designed and hand-printed by renowned American Arts & Crafts revival illustrator David Lance Goines (1945–2023) at the Saint Hieronymus Press in Berkeley, California.

Commissioned to promote a historic screening of Cecil B. DeMille’s silent film The King of Kings (1927) at the Pacific Film Archive (UC Berkeley Art Museum).

Executed on heavy poster card stock using solid-block letterpress techniques, featuring Goines' signature aesthetic: classical typography, delicate line-work, an architectural framing border, and a stepped rainbow beam.

Authentication Details: Features the original circular blind-embossed artist seal stamp in the lower margin reading "David Lance Goines 1978". (Poster No. 74 in the artist's official catalogue raisonné). Genuine late-1970s printing, not a digital reproduction.
