The Blue Willow pattern by Royal China USA is also known as Willow Ware Blue and is loved for the scenic story it tells. The white ironstone china is augmented with busy bands and a detailed Mandarin story scene from the legend of Blue Willow. The scene is printed in cobalt blue and features buildings, boats, willows, flowers and two love birds. Circa 1948.
This plate and pattern follows the 7-pc Bread & Butter set in one of my other listings that was Union Made and produced in Sebring Ohio, USA. It was introduced in 1948 and later retired. However, these 7 plates do no have the back stamp.
