A geometric art piece with a tapestry style panel in the centre, representing the cosmic world and solar life force, as well as two side spirit figures believed to protect and fight off negative energies.

The artist used a layering technique, where thick modelling material is hand applied onto a canvas to create the raised, 3D borders and sun wheel patterns. Painting is finished with a Batik crackle technique.

• Anam. WD, a regional artist operating out of the famous Ubud art district in Bali in the 1990s Indonesian art boom era.

Measurements: 65cm high, 55.5cm long & 3.5cm wide.

Condition;

The piece is in great condition, with the frame showing some minor scratches and signs of use wear. It is ready to hang, with no damage. Weighs approx 1.3 kilos.
