A Lovely Vintage 1950s Skirt with Embroidered Pockets! (Who does not love pockets on a skirt?)

This lovely little 1950s day or 1960s day skirt has flower and foliage embroidered pockets and a strip of the same embroidered attached above the scalloped and ruffled hem. The skirt does not have a closure, but an elasticated waist. I see the remnants of a label on the inside - shame someone cut it off.

The skirt is a size UK 8-10 (EU 36-40, US 4-6), but please check the waist measurement below (I use M&S size charts to determine sizes):

It measures as follows (when lying flat): Please bear in mind that you need to be able to pull it over your top are bottom to get into it!

Length: 28" 

Max. Waist: 16" (ca. 32" all around) - with the slack elastic! So, this is the maximum waist

Max. Hips: 27" (54" all around)

The skirt is in excellent, wearable and clean condition - I found to tiny rust spots (presumably from a pin?), BUT the elastic is floppy and needs to be replaced (see last photo).
