The Item:

An elegant and finely potted Japanese Arita porcelain tea/coffee pot. Decorated in the esteemed Kakiemon palette, featuring delicate overglaze enamels of iron-red, turquoise, and soft yellow against a pristine milky-white ground.

Design & Detail:

Motif: Classical "Birds and Flowers" (Kacho-ga) design with stylized floral sprays.

Form: A traditional tall-form pot with a gracefully curved handle and original fitted lid.

Quality: The porcelain is notably thin and displays excellent translucency when held to a light source.

Markings: This piece is unmarked, consistent with earlier Arita production techniques where the focus remained on the quality of the enamel and the "Nigoshide" style porcelain body.

Condition:

Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, or restorations. The enamel decoration remains vibrant with very little wear. (Please see high-resolution photos for detail).
