Anderson was a renowned military author and lecturer.The book is in acceptable condition considering its age with slight stain on cover (see pictures). In my opinion it has never been read and the maps, including the separate map are in excellent conditionThe bookplate on the inside of the cover shows it was the property of D. Greenhill Gardyne, Younger of Glenforsa, this being an Estate on theIsle of Mull. This suggest it belonged to the heir of the then Glendforsa Estate.Sadly there is no dust jacket.
