Description: This small hand-woven wool cloth which depicts Peruvian figures in brown, black, gray in thick embroidery on an off-white field. It was probably made by for the tourist trade in the mid 1900s. A decorative piece, it has a stylized deity complete with ceremonial headdress on top, followed by a ritual attendant, shaman or warrior facing right with raised hands alongside three decorative floating discs and a ceremonial vessel bottle on the bottom.
