Paula is one of the greatest New Mexican Hispana Artists of all time,

known for her straw appliqué pieces.

Her work is included in many museum collections (Smithsonian Institution,

Millicent Rogers Museum, Museum of International Folk Art, Denver Art

Museum).  She won numerous awards, including Governor's Award of 

Excellence in the arts.
