Up for auction is an official Vatican City presentation "Endower" medallion dated May 1999. This commemorative bronze medal was originally issued by the Holy See or an official papal philanthropic organization (associated with the Friends of John Paul II Foundation) to formally acknowledge generous institutional patrons and benefactors.
The reverse side of the medallion features fine, custom-engraved personalized text dedicating the award to Mr. Carl Crabb and Mrs. Sandra Rovsek-Crabb. It stands as a beautiful historical marker of international Catholic philanthropy from the late 1990s.
Condition:
The medallion is in very good pre-owned vintage condition. It comes complete with its original velvet-lined presentation display case, which shows minor shelf wear consistent with age.
