Bring a touch of whimsical nostalgia to your kitchen with this adorable pair of vintage 1970s stackable ceramic character sets: Boy in Overalls & Strawberry Apron Girl ceramic children’s dish set.
Produced by Interpur and imported for the French market, these highly collectible sets feature a delightful "Little Country Boy" and "Strawberry Girl" in a classic retro folk art style. When stacked together, the bowl forms the head and the mug is the body.
Both bowls have stickers which say Grès Véritable (genuine stoneware) Made in Korea.
Popular across the West in the 1970s as novelty gifts for children, also practical breakfast dishes. This set will add a pop of 1970s charm as display items in any funky kitchen. Its rare to find both the boy and girl together, especially with their labels in tact, meaning they were probably only ever used for display.
In VERY GOOD vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. There is a little wear to the hair design on the girl bowl though, shown in photos. Please see all photos and remember they are around 50 years old, pre-owned and pre-loved.
