Up for sale is a spectacular, investment-grade matching pair of vintage West German audio tubes.

• Tube Type: ECC83 / 12AX7 (Legendary Telefunken Smooth Plate construction).
• Authenticity Guarantee: Both tubes feature the iconic, infalsifiable Telefunken diamond symbol (<>) molded directly into the glass bottom base between the pins.
• Branding & Date Codes: Authentically branded with the vintage white "Dynaco" logo printed on the glass (supplied during the 1960s for premium Dynaco factory kits). Both tubes feature the matching factory code "JQ", strictly dating their production to June 1964 in West Germany.
• Target Equipment: The absolute holy grail upgrade for premium vintage preamplifiers and amplifiers (Dynaco PAS-2/PAS-3, McIntosh, Marantz, Fisher). Famed for unmatched transparency, holographic 3D soundstage, extended highs, and an incredibly low noise floor.

Performance Testing (Hickok TV-7)

Tested with precision on a calibrated Hickok TV-7 tube tester. These tubes have been tightly cross-matched across all four internal triodes to ensure flawless balance and perfect stereo imaging:

• Tube 1 (June 1964): 52 / 50
• Tube 2 (June 1964): 54 / 52

(Where the minimum usable chart baseline for an ECC83/12AX7 on the TV-7 is 32 per triode). Both tubes test extraordinarily strong, offering outstanding transconductance well into NOS territory, with zero shorts and zero gas leakage.

• Live Audio Verification (Microphonics): Live-tested directly in a critical audio preamplifier circuit at operational volume. Strictly passed all noise checks: completely microphonic-free, highly stable, with an absolute pitch-black background.
