No obvious wear and lettering is sharp and crisp.

This part is NLA from BMW.

Will fit  single or dual airbag BMW with build date 3/1999 for E38, E39 and others. 

These switches will install in earlier, 1 stage airbag steering wheels, but the connector to the steering column is different pre 3/1999 (originates from slip ring/clock spring) and after 3/1999 (separate short connector with white plugs on both ends as shown in photos). P/N of switches is identical STage 1 and Stage 2 applications.
