This Epson Perfection V600 Photo Flatbed Scanner with USB 2.0 High Speed was bought new from Crescent Electronics in August 2011 and had absolutely minimal usage before being stored safely barely six months later.
N.B. - In exceptional MINT condition.
Only used to scan about 72 6”x4” photos and about a dozen A4 document pages after purchase in August 2011 before being put into controlled storage in 2012 due to major life change. Light use for recent testing proved scanner is perfect in operation. (see photos for results). Body of the scanner is as new with no marks, scratches or damage of any kind. Lid is perfect in all respects. Scanner glass is crystal clear with no scratches. All internals are as purchased and in full working order”
Now listing with Postage or Collection. See note below.
Included originally and in this sale:
- Mains lead with 3-pin UK plug.
- mains lead with 2-pin plug.
- USB 2.0 connection cable
- AC Adapter p/n 2125592-1 and cable
- Start Here guide (about as much use as a chocolate teapot) & Warranty Booklet.
- Epson Software CD-ROM Vol. 1.2 (use online Epson Scan 2 software and drivers instead)
- 2 x Film holders for 35mm strip and slides (still sealed in original packaging.)
Setup and testing on a Mac today proved faultless. The originally supplied Epson Software CD-ROM is out of date so was obtained as downloads (drivers and Epson Scan2 interface) with no issues from Epson.co.uk. Installation and connection was simple and test scans were done. The last 2 photos here show a text page scanned in grey scale and a brochure image scanned at 600dpi 48 bit, producing a 5.2Mb file.
- N.B. I would prefer Collection (from my Lincolnshire home) to ensure no damage in transit. Epson recommend scanner is not inverted - and not all deliveries are good deliveries! May be willing to travel up to 30 miles to deliver to buyer’s home, or meet at agreed location.
Please study the photos and note the description of condition. This is indeed a MINT scanner.
