Guastatore or Guastatori (plural) means Sapper. A Battalion of Guastatori were at Tobruk in North Africa. A ring of concrete fortifications and minefields protected Tobruk and the Guastatori lead an attack on Tobruk across open ground to clear wire and other obstacles. With great skill the Guastatori cleared three pathways through the minefield for German troops to join in on the attack.

Soldier is in new unused unopened condition. I bought the booklet in used condition to go with the soldier as it has a lot of information. I have placed inside a plastic poly pocket for protection.
