Rare vintage wool throw handwoven in Vermont by Dewey's of Vermont, founded in 1836 and operating as a historic woolen mill producing textiles until 1972. Soft and thick flecked wool, which I believe is a blending of reindeer hair (the wool resembles a vintage textile out of New York which I previously sold blending wool and reindeer hair). Large size, measuring 74" by 56". In excellent condition save for one small half-hole (see last photo), otherwise no stains or tears or fading and with a rich chocolate brown color.
