This is a stunning sterling silver hair barrette/clip with a beautiful design. Five outstanding greenish turquoise stones are set in a row across the middle. The silver base is crafted in a sort of sand cast design with both straight and curved elements. The stones are flanked by hand stamp work as well. The silver base has a slightly brushed finish to it.

The decorative part of the barrette is sterling silver. The clip mechanism itself is stainless steel (and is not Native American made).

The barrette is 3" long and about 1  1/8" tall.

The turquoise stones are all about 3/16" by 3/8".

It weighs 24.9 g.

The artist's hallmark is "DB", a Native American silversmith. It could be Darryl Becenti, but the entire hallmark may be covered by the clasp.
